Hi,
If you would like to host an author visit, workshop, keynote or other event please contact me. I charge a flat rate of $150 for 40-60 minute session plus mileage for in-person events (70¢/km) within an hour drive from Edmonton. If the event is further away please contact to discuss. I'm available virtually and in-person.
*I offer a limited number of free, 20-minute virtual author talks such as a book talk to your class or book club. Contact me to discuss.

April 27 / The Poems We Spin: poetry writing workshop
1-2:30 pm, MST. Virtual workshop. Beginner friendly!
Exploring different points of view will open up another source for your work. In this workshop, we will write from multiple points of view from the stories we tell about ourselves to the stories others' hold. I will share with you how I use different points of view in my work to tap into deep emotion and how you can do the same. While sometimes it can be scary to see ourselves from the outside, I hope you will leave the workshop seeing how fun it can be to step into another’s shoes. This workshop is meant to challenge you to dive deep into the emotional core of your work, but also to bring out your playful side.
