Lending my voice until
you find your own.
Rena is an adoptee and mental health advocate with lived experience. She uses poetry as an avenue for healing and connection. Her debut ALMOST LOVED follows a former foster child’s search for love, connection and belonging while pushing back on the labels assigned to her at birth. It aims to answer what does it mean to truly be loved in a world where you are seen as second best.
